Ants on a Log

Ingredients:
Celery
Cream cheese; softened
Raisins
Clean and cut celery into sticks. Fill with cream cheese. Line up raisens to look like Ants on a Log.

Apple Sauce Cake

Ingredients:
2/3 c Margarine, melted
1 c Sugar (less than 1 cup if using sweetened applesauce check the label!)
2 c Flour (white or half white, and half whole wheat)
1 1/2 c Unsweetened applesauce-hot
2 ts Baking soda
1 Heaping tsp cinnamon
1 c Raisins
1 c Nuts
2 tb Wheat germ (opt)

Salami Sticks

Ingredients:
8 ea Thin Salami Slices
1/4 c Chunk-Style Peanut Butter
Spread the peanut butter on the slices and roll them into longs.
NOTE: I had to force myself to try this high-protein snack the first time, but once was all it took. It’s a surprisingly delicious combination and the kids love them.
